John Boyega bravely led deeply emotional protests to thousands of protesters in Hyde Park, London, UK. After The Death of George Floyd, Boyega has been vocally in support of the protests and finally took part in them to protest Floyd's death in police custody, police brutality and the continued abhorrent treatment of the Black Community across society, not just in the US, but the UK too.

Crowds of thousands can be visibly seen supporting the passionate actor, #JohnBoyega, as he gives the speech of a generation to people of all ages and backgrounds that are passionate about one thing: Black Lives Matter.

Boyega has spoken up about the racism that is rampant in society, especially after The Death of George Floyd. Floyd, an unarmed black man, that was killed at the hands of a white police officer whilst in custody on the streets of #Minneapolis has sparked the Black Community around the globe to again rally together, and seek support from allies to liberate themselves. The brutal death of Floyd that was caused from the neverending #PoliceBrutality epidemic towards black people has led to protests in every state in the US and many major cities across the world including Brussels and Paris as well as major UK cities including Liverpool, Birmingham and London, where Boyega bravely spearheaded a powerful peaceful #BLM protest. The death of Floyd has brought the Black Community to again fight out against the generations of racism and white supremacy that they have fought tooth and nail against with Boyega giving one of the most emotional and moving speeches that will positively shape change the BLM landscape.

After the racist, brutal death of #GeorgeFloyd on the streets of Minneapolis, Boyega has been vocal of his utter disgust towards racists that cause him and the Black Community pain each day. Two days after Floyd's death in police custody, he tweeted 'I really fucking hate racists.'

The breathtaking images that have been captured of a growing rally in the heart of Central London for Black Lives Matter that is history in the making.

'Black lives have always mattered. We have always been important. We have always meant something. We have always succeeded regardless. And now is the time. I ain't waiting.' - John Boyega at the London Protests.

John Boyega led the protests with phenomenal levels of emotions that can be felt on every level and with every fibre of your being. The distress and heartache that is so powerful in his voice, body language and facial expressions is palpable.

People have pointed out they can feel 'the pain in his voice' which is so evident it cannot be ignored. This is one of the most powerful turning points in history and the grief and pain that Boyega shows cannot be feigned. This is real, harrowing pain he has lived through. He sadly knows all this distress from first hand experience and we need people like John Boyega with the global superstar presence to lead us forward and break through the glass box that black people are continually being forced into.

Crowds of thousands can be seen all around Boyega as his passionate speeches resonate with everyone present at the Black Lives Matter protest.

Boyega Has Gained Support From A Whole Host Of Entertainment Powerhouses

The actor expressed brief concern that he might not have a career after leading a Black Lives Matter protest however he quickly dismissed such as worry because this monumental tidal wave of change is too important to be worrying a career. He was boldy aware that this movement was much bigger than him, despite his global recognition for his work, he still knew this would mean more than any job.

The lack of care for himself is extraordinary and demonstrates how much black people have to sacrifice in order to try and progress their fight for rights and to not be treated like second class citizens.

'I don't know if I'm going to have a career after this, but fuck that.' - John Boyega as he led the passionate yet very peaceful London Protests in Hyde Park.

He has gained support from a wealth of people from the official Star Wars accounts to renowned creators like Charlie Brooker known famously for his Black Mirror series that has recently been acquired by Netflix.

Oscar-winning director and filmmaker Jordan Peele known for 'Get Out' and 'Us', spoke out in support of John Boyega too, saying on Twitter 'We got you, John.'

John Boyega Was Trending Alongside Former President Barack Obama

John Boyega was trending on Twitter alongside the first black President of the United States, #BarackObama. This in its own right just shows how important what happened in Hyde Park was on the 3rd of June 2020. More than half a million people were Tweeting about Boyega's speech and that number continuously grew and grew as the day progressed and the momentum picked up outside of the core #protest.

The videos from the Black Lives Matter protest that Boyega spearheaded gained millions upon millions of views and have been shared countless times. His impact upon the world from this rally is beyond words. The lives he has touched with his message will be remembered for years to come and become a part of history. This time now, sparked by The Death of George Floyd, is a pivotal turning point in the history of the world.

John Boyega has made history with his selfless act of defiance. The even more disturbing issue, when looking just below the surface level of the protest, is that Boyega joining and leading a protest about the issues that black people are facing is even considered 'career ruining' and controversial. This is the start of something massive, however sadly, there is still a long fight ahead.
